The survey of the property authorized by the Town Board last week began earlier in the week with the review of the deeds and records on file at the County Clerk’s Office and the actual field instrument survey began today (January 12). It is anticipated this work will be completed and official maps prepared over the next several weeks. Additionally, the phase II environmental site investigation for soil sampling and asbestos/lead paint assessment will begin the week of January 15. As of today, January 12, the Town and the Seller continue good faith negotiations for a Purchase and Sales Agreement acceptable to both parties. I will share further updates as more details become available.
