The Town of Penfield Department of Public Works (DPW) will be milling and paving the town's parking lots in the South East region of the Four Corners. The construction schedule for this project is as follows:
Monday, May 7, 2018: Milling – Parking lot to be closed at 6:00 am, for milling to begin at 7:00 am. DPW anticipates opening a small portion of the parking area off Five Mile Line Road between Joe Gatts and Incognito earlier in the day and the remaining portions of the lot in the evening.
Tuesday, May 8, 2018: Cleanup – Miscellaneous milling and patchwork in select areas will be completed. The overall parking lot will remain open with small work zone areas to be coned off for the duration of the day.
Wednesday, May 9, 2018: Begin paving – Parking lot to be closed by 6:00 am, paving to begin at 7:00 am. If paving is not fully completed, the unfinished portion of the lot will be opened that evening.
Thursday, May 10, 2018: Finish Paving – Parking lot to be closed by 6:00 am, and the remaining paving work to begin at 7:00 am. The parking lot will remain closed overnight to allow newly paved asphalt to cool and striping to be completed.
Friday, May 11, 2018: Open parking lot for business – The newly paved and striped parking lot will be opened for use unless unfavorable weather pushes construction into Friday.
