The Columbus Crossing entrance to the Penfield Town Hall will be temporarily closed the week of September 9–13 due to construction of a new sanitary sewer service to the town hall. This access drive is located on the west side of the town hall off Jackson Road near the Jackson/Atlantic intersection.
Site preparation is complete and the sewer work will begin on Monday, September 9. The project will remove and replace a 1965 septic system with sewer service. Work is expected to take one week.
Barriers will block both ends of the Columbus Crossing access drive during the closure. Visitors to the town hall should use the main entrance on Atlantic Avenue or the Veterans Park Way entrance from Jackson Road near the Dolomite Lodge.
