I have a few quick reminders to share today.
Monroe County and the Town of Penfield are hosting a second mask give-away on Wednesday, May 13 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Road. Masks are surgical style and can be worn multiple times with gentle use. Proof of residency will not be checked. Family members of vulnerable Penfield residents may pick up masks for their loved ones; what’s most important is that we get masks to residents who need them. If you have any questions about this mask give-away contact the Monroe County COVID-19 hotline at (585) 753-5555 or COVID19@monroecounty.gov.
Here is a link to all Monroe County’s towns/villages mask distribution sites for this Wednesday, May 13, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM: https://www2.monroecounty.gov/health-COVID-19-masks
Yesterday, Governor Cuomo announced a new online resource called “New York Forward: A Guide to Reopening New York & Building Back Better.” Here’s link for your convenience: https://www.governor.ny.gov/sites/governor.ny.gov/files/atoms/files/NYForwardReopeningGuide.pdf
I also want to remind everyone that Town-sponsored music and events are canceled for the month of June. In the coming weeks we will evaluate the status of July plans within state and county directives.
