- Supervisor’s Update: Tuesday, June 2

Today I’m passing along this voting information from the New York State Board of Elections:

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the New York State Board of Elections encourages eligible voters to vote by Absentee Ballot for the June 23, 2020 state and local primary election. Residents who are eligible to vote on June 23 should have received an absentee ballot application to vote by mail. To obtain an absentee ballot, a voter must first submit an application to the Board Of Elections. Absentee ballot applications are also available at the BOE. The last day to postmark an application for an absentee ballot is June 16.

After you receive your absentee ballot, completed ballots must be postmarked by June 22 or dropped off at the BOE at 39 W. Main Street before 9:00 PM on June 23.

Another way for voters to avoid crowds and assist in social distancing is to take advantage of the nine (9) days of early voting from June 13 through June 21. Voters can choose to vote at any of the 12 early voting sites in Monroe County.

The Town of Penfield will host early voting at one location only: the Dolomite Lodge in Veterans Memorial Park.

For complete details regarding this process, a list of early voting locations, and voting dates and times, go to www.monroecounty.gov/elections.

Find COVID-19 resources at www.penfield.org. Direct questions or concerns to the Monroe County COVID-19 hotline at (585) 753-5555 or COVID19@monroecounty.gov.

Stay home, stop the spread, save lives,
