See expanded list in left sidebar Penfield's boards and committees range in focus from historic preservation to land use planning. Several of the boards perform duties as required by law and their members are town officials. The other boards are advisory, enlisting the time, talent and energy of Penfield residents. At any given time, more than 100 residents are serving the community as part of these vital groups, which meet regularly and require a significant time commitment over the one-to-three year terms. Any resident interested in serving on one of Penfield's Boards or Committees is invited to submit his/her resume to the Town Clerk .
