Watershed Management Committee

The mission of the Watershed Management Committee is to oversee the function and maintenance of the watercourses in the town of Penfield. The WMC makes recommendations to the Penfield Town Board for updates to the various watershed studies and other drainage needs within the town of Penfield.

The WMC provides a conduit to the Town Board for drainage concerns. Volunteer members assist the Engineering Department in site walks of drainage courses and document any obstructions, excessive erosion areas, or deterioration of the watercourses.

Town Councilmember Linda Teglash is the Town Board Liaison.

The Watershed Management Advisory Committee is a five-member body that meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month several times a year.
Committee members serve a one-year term (January 1 - December 31)
